Europe Travel Calculator (Schengen)

This is a calculator to inform travelers about their available days with respect to the Schengen visa rules. The Schengen zone, is the area that embraces the territory of the countries that have signed the Schengen Agreement, which strengthens the common judicial system, cooperation of the police and eliminates many of the internal borders between the signatory members, which allows free movement of people, goods, services and capital in most of the Schengen area. Currently, the Schengen area includes 26 countries, some of which are Member States of the European Union. However, according to the Schengen rules, the signatories can restore controls at internal borders in exceptional circumstances. Due to fear of terrorist events and the large influx of migrants trying to enter Europe, and because of the war in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, currently, there are seven countries that have imposed controls on its borders: Austria, Denmark, France, Hungary, Germany, Norway and Sweden.
