According to Official Guinness Records,

The average viewer in the USA watched 293 minutes (4 hr 53 min) of TV every day in 2011, according to the International Communications Market Report published by Ofcom, the UK's regulator for the communications industry. Italy is next at 253 minutes (4 hr 13 min) followed by the UK at 242 min (4 hr 2 min).
