The fastest 100 km run barefoot is 8 hr 42 min 11 sec and was achieved by Peter Wayne Botha (New Zealand) during the 18th Annual Sri Chinmoy 24 Hour race at AUT Millenium Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand, on 3 October 2015.
