The fastest half marathon in an animal costume (female) is 1 hr 32 min 24 sec and was achieved by Fiona Oakes (UK) in Tromsø, Norway, on 16 June 2018.Fiona attempted this record at the 2018 Midnight Sun Marathon to promote her animal sanctuary and the vegan cause which she has championed for 40 years.
