Longest mastodon tusk

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest mastodon tusk measures 5.02 m (16 ft 6 in) and was excavated from 17 to 28 July 2007, at a dig in Milia, Grevena, Greece, supervised by associate professor Evangelia Tsoukala, Dick Mol, research associate at the Natural History Museum of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and a paleontological team from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the School of Geology.This tusk beats the previous record of a 4.39 m (14 ft 5 in) tusk excavated in 1997, also by associate professor Tsoukala. The tusks were dedicated to the prefecture of Grevena and the Natural History Museum in Milia, Greece, where they are displayed.
