Fastest average time to solve a Rubik's Cube (in competition)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest average time to solve a standard 3 x 3 x 3 Rubik's Cube in competition is 5.80 seconds by Felix Zemdegs (Australia) at the Malaysia Cube Open 2017 competition in Bangi, Malaysia, on 15 October 2018.Zemdegs achieved the world record time in the first round of the competition, which he went on to win in the 3 x 3 x 3 Cube category.
