The fastest marathon dressed in an ice hockey kit (male) is 4 hr 8 min 43 sec, achieved by Paul Statchuk (Canada) at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on 14 October 2012. Statchuk wore a Toronto Maple Leafs uniform, and ran to raise money for the Brain and Tumour Foundation of Canada. He also holds the record for fastest marathon in an American football kit.
