According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest time to make a 100 m paper chain by a team is 56.81 seconds, achieved by Furuya Metal Co., Ltd. (Japan) at Differ Ariake in Koto, Tokyo, Japan, on 10 November 2017.The event was held as part of a day-long celebration for the company's 50th anniversary.
