First aircraft sabotage

According to Official Guinness Records,

A nitroglycerin explosive destroyed a United Airlines Boeing 247 on 10 October 1933 over Chesterton, Indiana - the first confirmed bombing of an aircraft. On 28 March 1933, an Imperial Airways Armstong Argosy II crashed after a fire was started on board, possibly by a suicidal passenger;although impossible to prove, this could also be considered an act of sabotage.
