According to Official Guinness Records,

Using 70,000 beermats and no adhesive of any kind, Sven Goebel (Germany) built the largest beermat structure measuring 3 m (9 ft 10 in) tall and 5 m (16 ft 4 in) wide in Kall, Germany on 16 August 2004.
