Largest building by capacity

According to Official Guinness Records,

The Abraj Al Bait Towers complex in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is designed to house 65,000 people. The largest of the towers, the 120-floor Hotel Tower, is 601 m (1,972 ft) tall and has a floor space (Gross Floor Area, GFA) of 310,638 m² (3,343,680 ft²). The entire development has a GFA of 1,575,815 m² (16,961,931 ft²) – the largest for a non-industrial endowment – and has the largest capacity for human habitation, comprising primarily of residences and hotel rooms.
