The largest cavaquinho ensemble is 948 participants, achieved by Colégio da Imaculada Conceição (Portugal) in Coimbra, Portugal, on 10 June 2017.The song sang was Saia velhinha. The ensemble was formed by students and former students of Colégio da Imaculada Conceição as well as other people who played the cavaquinho that were interested in the event.
