According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest collection of trivets stands at 10,165 and was achieved by Ion Chirescu (Romania), in Bucharest, Romania, on 11 April 2016. The trivets will soon be kept on permanent public display in the Chirescu Private Collection Museum in Bucharest, Romania.
