Most dismissals by a wicket-keeper in a Test match (male)
According to Official Guinness Records,
Wicket-keepers Jack Russell (England, b. Robert Russell) and AB de Villiers (South Africa, b. Abraham Benjamin de Villiers) have both taken 11 catches during a single Test match. Russell achieved the feat in the 2nd Test against hosts South Africa at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on 30 November and 2–3 December 1995. De Villiers matched Russell’s achievement with 11 catches in the 1st Test against Pakistan at the same venue on 2–4 February 2013. On both occasions, six catches were taken in the first innings and five in the second innings.
