The most double high fives given by a mascot in one minute is 116 and was achieved by Cosmo the Cougar (USA) at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, USA, on 22 July 2017. They mascot of Brigham Young University chose to break this record to encourage friendly competition between mascots.
