According to Official Guinness Records,

The most mentions of an event name on Weibo™ in 24 hours is 2,250,535 and was achieved by Weibo™ and Tmall (both China) as part of the promotion for Single's Day in China, on 4 November 2016. The event was Alibaba's Single's Day, an annual online shopping event held on 11 November. As part of raising awareness of the day, Tmall worked with Weibo to promote the sales available.
