The most people tossing coins simultaneously was 36,222 in an event organised by Make-a-Wish (Ireland) in conjunction with the Bank of Ireland, Leinster Rugby and the Aviva Stadium at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland on 6 October 2012 This event was attempted at half time during the Munster v Leinster rugby game in the Aviva stadium. Counting was accurately achieved through 500 volunteers stewarding with the help of coin counting machines (donated by Coinstar®)
