According to Official Guinness Records,

The most vertical metres cycled in 48 hours is 29,623.3 m (97,189 ft 9.24 in) and was achieved by Craig Cannon (USA) in Berkeley, California, USA, between 7 and 9 August 2015. Craig is a keen endurance rider - he regularly cycles with the Knackered Tyres cycling group in his home state of California.
