Farthest javelin throw (female)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The farthest javelin throw by a female athlete is 72.28 m (237 ft 1.6 in), by Barbora Špotáková (Czech Republic) at the IAAF World Athletics Final in Stuttgart, Germany, on 13 September 2008. The record-breaking throw occurred in the first round of the competition – the third consecutive year that Špotáková had won the World Athletics Final with her first throw.
