According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest genetic diagnosis is 26 hours and was achieved by Stephen F. Kingsmore M.D., D.Sc (USA), in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, on 30 March 2015.The 26 hour genetic diagnosis system was designed to help families awaiting diagnosis in the neonatal intensive care unit.
