The fastest half marathon pushing a wheelchair (male) is 1 hr 35 min 06 sec and was achieved by Jeffrey Vance (USA) at the Shamrock half marathon in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA, on 17 March 2018. Jeffrey pushed his friend Josh Wandell along the course. Jeffrey is inspired by his fried Josh, who is battling ALS. Not only did Jeffrey and Josh set out to break this record, but they also want to raise awareness about the disease.
