The fastest marathon dressed as a star is 4 hrs 5 min 42 secs, achieved by Victor Solis Garavito (Mexico) at the Marathon of Mexico City, in Mexico City, Mexico, on 27 August 2017.Victor has dreamed of breaking a record since he was a child. During his race, spectators along the course encouraged Victor to keep going by humming the Super Mario Bros. theme song.
