Fastest row, Men’s Coxed Eights (M8+)

According to Official Guinness Records,

On 18 June 2017, Germany won the final of the Men’s Eight category at the Rowing World Cup II event in Poznań, Poland, in a world-best time of 5 minutes 18.68 seconds. The team consisted of Malte Jakschik, Martin Sauer, Richard Schmidt, Johannes Weissenfeld, Torben Johannesen, Jakob Schneider, Maximilian Planer, Hannes Ocik and Felix Wimberger.World Rowing acknowledges "world best" times rather than world records, owing to the fluctuating environmental factors involved in outdoor rowing.All times cover 2,000 m races.
