Fastest run 200 metres (male) (indoors)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest indoor 200 m run by a male athlete is 19.92 seconds, by Frankie Fredericks (Namibia) at the St Yorre International Meeting in Liévin, France, on 18 February 1996. He took more than a quarter of a second off the existing record – set by Linford Christie on the same track the previous year – and remains the only athlete to have run a sub-20 second indoor 200 m.
