Fastest run 400 metres (male) (indoors)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest indoor 400 m run by a male athlete is 44.57 seconds, by Kerron Clement (USA, b. Trinidad and Tobago) in Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA, on 12 March 2005. The 19-year-old Clement was competing for the University of Florida at the NCAA Men’s Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.
