According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest 200 m run backwards is 31.72 seconds, achieved by Aaron Yoder (USA) at the Lindsborg/ Bethany College Track in Lindsborg, Kansas, USA, on 21 June 2017. Aaron has a dream of breaking all the Guinness World Records titles for backwards running. He trained before attempting this record for the fastest run backwards 200 m.
