Fastest time to row the length of the Mississippi River by a team

According to Official Guinness Records,

Bob Bradford and Clark Eid (both USA) paddled the length of the Mississippi from Lake Itasca, Minnesota, to Mile Zero in the Gulf of Mexico in a time of 18 days, 4 hours and 51 minutes from 10 to 28 May 2003. The record was set during The Mississippi River Challenge for Rett Syndrome and Leukodystrophy.
Note: Claimants were sent guidelines before the record category was rested, and as such we have accepted their claim. However, the category should remain rested (as too parochial), since we have rejected numerous claims since on the grounds that the record is rested.
