Fastest time to visit all countries by public surface transport

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest time to visit all countries by public surface transport is 4 years and 31 days, achieved by Graham Hughes (UK) between 1 January 2009 and 31 January 2013.
The total number of countries (197) includes: United Nations member countries (193), Kosovo (Member of UN Agency), Vatican and Palestine (UN Observer States) and Chinese Taipei (sovereign state). During his journey, Graham also visited overseas territories that are not UN member states, thus totalling 217 countries and territories.
