Fastest towed asphalt skiing

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest towed asphalt skiing is 51.4 km/h (32 mph) by Erik Roner (USA) at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, USA, on 18 November 2008 for the MTV show 'Nitro Circus'.
Roner was towed behind a vehicle while wearing standard, commercially available snow skiis. The GWR episode will air January 2009.
