Chris Gayle (Jamaica) smashed a century from just 30 balls for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in the Indian Premier League in Bangalore, India, on 23 April 2013. Gayle's destructive 175 not out, the highest score by a player in a Twenty20 innings, featured 13 fours and 17 sixes, the most sixes by a player in a Twenty20 innings and the most runs scored in boundaries by a player in a Twenty20 innings (154).
