First all-talking cartoon

According to Official Guinness Records,

Paul Terry's (USA) Dinner Time (USA 1928), was premiered at the Mark Strand Theatre, New York, New York, USA on 1 September 1928. Walt Disney dismissed it as `a lot of racket and nothing else'. His own initial venture into talkies, Steamboat Willie (US 1928) , presented at New York's Colony Theatre on November 18, 1928 was more auspicious as it marked the debut of the most successful cartoon character of all time, Mickey Mouse.
