First television sci-fi show

According to Official Guinness Records,

A 35-minute-long adaptation of Karel Čapek's (Poland) 1921 play R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots) was broadcast in February 1938 and was the first ever piece of science-fiction seen on television. It also marked the first time a robot was depicted on screen.
