Highest annual growth in conflict

According to Official Guinness Records,

In 2010, attacks by armed opposition groups continued to rise in Afghanistan as a whole, achieving the highest annual growth rate so far recorded. They rose by 64 per cent over the figure for 2009, with a total of 12,224 armed operations, or 33 attacks per day. In Helmand Province in the south of the country, such attacks increased significantly - by 124 per cent in 2010.
