According to Official Guinness Records,

The highestscore on the arcade version of Radiant Silvergun (Treasure, 1998) to be verified by Twin Galaxies is 1,067,920 points, achieved by prolific Dutch record-breaker Jordi Schouteren. Fan-made "superplay" videos featuring footage of skilled shmup players exist that show scores over 26,000,000 points. However, the validity of such playthroughs is difficult to authenticate from gameplay footage alone.
