According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest game of hide-and-seek involved 1,437 participants and was achieved by Long Yang Chengdu Textile City and Chengdu Sky Sports Culture Communication Co. Ltd. (both China), in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, on 1 January 2014.
