Largest number killed in war against drugs

According to Official Guinness Records,

In December 2006, President Felipe Calderón initiated a military onslaught against drug organisations operating across Mexico. Since then, according to the figures announced by the Attorney General, Arturo Chavez, more than 30,000 people have been killed. This figure has been updated by a new official database in January 2011 to 34,612. 2010 has been the worst year in the anti-drug campaign with 15,273 deaths. The database includes deaths of gang members, police, soldiers and civilians.
