According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest torch lit parade (multiple locations) was achieved by 2,086 participants during an event organised by Comitato Dolomite's Fire (Italy) in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, on 26 March 2011.
The event was organised to raise money for the charity 'Magica Cleme', Italy.
