The largest watermelon eating contest consists of 259 people, and was achieved by the City of Safety Harbor, Florida (USA), in Safety Harbor, Florida, USA, on 1 July 2018.The attempt took place at Melons for Moolah, an event held to raise money for local charities and bring the community together.
