According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest barbecue marathon (team) is 40 hours and 53 seconds and was achieved by Matteo Marras, Giovanni Meloni and Pierfranco Ligios (all Italy) during an event organised by Mondo Convenienza (Italy), in Sassari, Italy, on 14 May 2017.The event was organised to celebrate the opening of a new Mondo Covenienza store in Sassari, Italy.
