According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest 9-inning game by time in major league baseball history was the second game of a doubleheader that lasted 4 hours 45 minutes played between the New York Yankees and the home team Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts, USA on 18 August 2006. The Yankees were victorious, 14-11.
