According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest bridge held by swimmers was 250 m (820 ft 2 in) long and was held by 800 volunteers of the German Wasserwacht at the Brombachsee, Germany, on 21 June 2008
The bridge was crossed by Christoph Haller.
