According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest distance tap danced by a team is 16.73 km (10.4 miles), and was achieved by 13 tap dancers from the Centre of Movement School of Performing Arts, in Gorham, Maine, USA, on 20 October 2002.The dancers who completed the distance were Jaife Kahle, Brianna Boland, Meagan And Deana Romeika, Amanda and David Bell. Wendy Almeida, Shari Chaney, Shannon Mosey, Carol Jonson, Amy Coucette, Stephen Assante and Kelly Byrne. The ensemble of 13 started in Portland, Maine, and journeyed through the streets to Gorham, Maine, completing a choreographed routine over a time span of 4 hr 33 min. The attempt raised funds for the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center.
