Longest marathon playing petanque (boules)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest pétanque marathon is 52 hours by 12 members of Gilles de B'Heinsch in Toernich, Luxemberg, Belgium on 18-20 September 2009.
The attempt began at 8am on the 18th and ended at 12noon on 20th September. The players were seperated into 4 teams of 3 palyers each.
