Longest nougat

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest nougat is 789.30 metres (2,589.57 ft) and was achieved by Nicola Fiasconaro (Italy), in Mazara del Vallo, Palermo, Italy, on 6 October 2016.The attempt took place within the 5th edition of Blue Sea Land: Expo of the Mediterranean, African and Middle Easter Agrofood Clusters.Nicola Fiasconaro, with the collaboration of Distretto delia Pesca e Crescita Blu and Duciezio Association created a 2,738 kilograms nougat, or "cubaita" at the Casbah of Mazara del Vallo. Confectioners and nougat makers gathered from all over Sicily to handcraft the final product.
