The longest running TV travel programme is Sereno Variabile (Raidue, Italy), hosted by Osvaldo Bevilacqua (Italy), which was first broadcast in November 1978 and is still running daily, as of March 2015.In each episode Osvaldo Bevilacqua takes his audience on journeys into the history, traditions and food of several regions in Italy and abroad. Troughout his career Osvaldo is said to have travelled 2,912,950 km (1,810,023 miles) in Italy and 13,950,000 (8,668,128 miles) all over the world.
