According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest TV career by a an entertainer (male) is 76 years, and was achieved by Sir Bruce Forsyth (UK) between the years 1939 - 2015. Sir Bruce Forsyth (UK) made his TV debut in 1939 as an 11-year old on the BBC (UK) show Come and Be Televised and hosted his first show, Sunday Night at the London Palladium (ATV/ITV, UK), in 1958. His final TV appearance was on November 13 2015 where he co-hosted the Children In Need, Strictly Come Dancing special.
