Longest underwater power cable

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest underwater power cable is 577.5 km (358.84 miles) long and connects the norwegian power grid at Feda with the dutch power grid at Eemshaven. The cable was laid by TenneT TSO B.V. and Statnett and inaugurated on 11 September 2008.The single cable weighs 37.5 kg per metre, the double cable 85 kg per metre. The current passing through the cable is direct current (DC). the cable has a capacity of 700 MW.
