Loudest whistle, steam

According to Official Guinness Records,

A peak reading of 134.1dBA was recorded while measuring the Factory Steam Whistle at The New York Wire Company, York, Pennsylvania, USA on 12 December 2002.
The measurement was taken during the annual playing of Christmas Carols, the only time the whistle is now used. On a calm night the whistle can be heard within a five mile radius.
