Most Basketball Olympic Golds (Men)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most basketball Olympic gold medals won by a men’s team is 15, achieved by Team USA (USA) from the Berlin 1936 to the Rio 2016 Olympics. The Americans won the inaugural men's competition at Berlin 1936 and went unbeaten in seven consecutive finals between 1936 and 1968 (the Olympic Games were not staged in 1940 and 1944). They returned to winning ways at Montreal 1976 and won further titles in 1984, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2012. Their latest success was at the Olympic Games in 2016, beating Serbia 96-66.
