According to Official Guinness Records,

The most bottles played in a musical performance is 1,100 and was achieved by 172 musicians organised by the Jim Pattison Group Partners in Pride Executive Conference (Canada) in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, on 19 March 2015.Participants played "Happy Birthday" to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Overwaitea Group.
